[28 Oct 2023 07am-01pm ET] Cross the Pond: Cross the Pond Eastbound 2023

Recommended Posts

VATSIM is pleased to announce the return of Cross the Pond, this time for a eastbound journey, taking off on October 28th, 2023.

Cross The Pond is the largest and longest-running event on VATSIM (over 20 years). The event is biannual flying between the two sides of the Atlantic Ocean - Westbound in the spring and Eastbound in the autumn. Hundreds of pilots light up the virtual skies, and dozens of controllers burn both ends of the candle to provide professional ATC service over the Ocean and the Continents.

To keep in touch with news regarding the event, you can follow their social media and look for the hashtag #CTP23E

They also have a dedicated discord server, which is going to get busier as we approach show-day. To join, head over to https://ctp.vatsim.net and follow the instructions on your screen.
Additional information will be added once arrival and departure fields are set and voting opens. Keep your eyes out on the voting list for your favorite airport!

Secured a slot for departing Boston? Be sure to check out our Pilot Briefing for this year's event below. This document covers everything you should be expected to know for departure. Pilots are highly encouraged to prefile their flight plan no more than 2 hours before their scheduled slot time. This will ensure we have ample opportunity to review your information and have an IFR clearance waiting for you to connect.
